Substances or materials that can lead to pollution are called pollutant. The terms of a substance called a pollutant when its presence can cause harm to living beings. For example, carbon dioxide levels in air 0.033% beneficial for the plant, but if higher than 0.033% can rnemberikan damaging effects.

A substance can be called a pollutant if:

Pollution levels are based on contaminant levels and time (duration) contact. Levels of pollution can be divided into three, as follows:
1. Pollution resulting from irritation (disorder) light on the senses and the body and has caused damage to other ecosystems. For example, motor vehicle exhaust gas that causes eye pain.
2. Pollution that has resulted in reaction to the physiology of the body and cause chronic pain. For example, pollution of Hg (mercury) in Minamata Japan causing cancer and birth defects.
3. Pollution levels of these substances pencemarnya so great that cause interference and illness or death in the environment. For example, nuclear pollution.

There are various ways to prevent pollution, by reforestation, creation of urban parks, and ban the disposal of disembarang place.

We all know that some of the environmental conditions of Indonesia are very alarming. Lots of dirty river due to irregular waste disposal and air pollution due to motor vehicle fumes are more and more. These all can cause disruption for living things (one of them) in Jakarta, including the human. Our breathing can be interrupted and the beauty of the State of Indonesia polluted. Therefore, it would be nice if we as a population of Indonesia is trying to preserve the environment of this country with a variety of businesses. Among these are the green, making the city park, and the prohibition on arbitrary tempat.Ini trash can control all the beauty of the State Indonesia.Mari us keep our environment clean and comfortable to Indonesia.
